    A cycling trip through France, and in particular the wine regions of Burgundy and Alsace, was the inspiration for the founding of Colmar Estate in Orange, New South Wales. At 980m above sea level the vineyards are amongst the highest in Australia, making it the perfect location for the production of classic, northern French-style wines.

    This is a great follow-up to the gorgeous 2022 Pinot Gris. Lovely varietal lift on the nose – quite fragrant. The palate has the pristine fruit expression that only a cool year can confer. It’s flavoursome and mouth-filling yet all kept in check by fine, natural acidity which draws out the finish.
